The Author Clinic
One-to-one advice and support for writers
Are you writing something? Would you like help?
Fancy brainstorming your plot? Or need tips on getting started? Perhaps you’re wading through the middle or struggling to finish your book? Or you’re ready to submit to agents but don’t know where (and how) to start?
Here’s your chance to ask me anything in The Author Clinic. Literally anything connected to writing or publishing.
What it is: one-to-one personalised advice, via a virtual link, for an hour. It’s a Zoom chat between just the two of us, and it’s confidential, of course.
Who it’s for: anyone who’s writing, or wants to be – from aspiring authors to established ones.
What it costs: £60 for an hour. It’s a one-off payment with no strings, no extras, no obligation to book again. That’s it.
Who we are: five established authors including Eleni Kyriacou (me!), Charlotte Levin, Louise Fein, Nikki Smith and Louise Hare. We’ve been through many ups and downs ourselves and know how lonely writing can get. Support at the right time can be invaluable. You can book any of us for a chat.
My background: I’ve been traditionally published for five years and have written three historical crime novels, including The Unspeakable Acts of Zina Pavlou which was chosen for BBC’s Between the Covers book club. Before coming to fiction, I worked in magazines and am an award-winning editor and journalist. I can help you with practically anything connected to writing craft or publishing (except for specific advice on writing SFF, romantasy or children’s literature).

Want to book? Use the form below or go to my calendar and choose a day and time that suits you. There are weekends and evenings available, too. Once you’ve paid, you’ll receive an email confirmation and a zoom link for our session.
